Founded by Elise LeGarde-Smith, Geaux Clear Collection was created with one simple idea: clear bags don’t have to sacrifice style. The Louisiana-based brand designs and manufactures clear arena and game-day handbags that meet event requirements while still allowing women to feel confident, comfortable, and stylish carrying them.
Elise’s connection to Louisiana runs deep. She grew up between Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and Covington, Louisiana, attended LSU, and has called Baton Rouge home for more than 20 years. With family and community ties throughout the region, she understands the importance of bringing together style, practicality, and the experiences that make Louisiana special.
The idea for Geaux Clear began in 2017 after Elise found herself attending concerts and events without a clear-bag option that offered the quality, durability, and style she wanted. She envisioned a bag that could withstand Louisiana heat, busy ballgames, concerts, and family sporting events—while still being something she would genuinely be proud to carry.
The collection began with a single design, the Audrey, named after Elise’s daughter. Since then, Geaux Clear has continued to introduce new styles based on current trends, customer feedback, and the ways women actually use their bags. Each design is created with versatility in mind, allowing customers to move easily from a college football game to a concert, sporting event, or night out.
For Elise, the inspiration behind Geaux Clear goes beyond handbags. It is about helping people participate in the moments they love. Her family enjoys sports, live music, and attending events together, and she sees the brand as a way to remove a small but important obstacle from those experiences. Whether it’s a family at a baseball tournament, friends heading to a concert, or fans gathering for a big game, Geaux Clear helps make getting through the door a little easier—and looking good while doing it a lot more fun.
