Jen Pontti

Jen Pontti is a self taught abstract artist located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a full time Registered Nurse and mother of two teens. She credits her launch into the art world as “a true God Story” that she will readily share. Jen paints in her kitchen with the music up and the mixed media flowing. Her painting titles  are often inspired by conversations and song lyrics. Each title has a story behind it. She often videos her painting sessions as each work comes to life. These can be viewed on her social media @jenponttiart. Her work has appeared in the Better Homes and Gardens One Room Challenge and The Washington Post.

Her works vary in form and stroke but vibrant color is a constant theme. Jen says that one of her most treasured compliments from clients is that her paintings make them “feel happy”.
