OUR STORY
The Foyer has been a fixture in Baton Rouge's art community since it opened on Perkins Road. What started as a marketplace for local artists and craftspeople has grown into 8,000 square feet of original art, handcrafted furniture, curated gifts, and inspired living.
Every piece on the floor came from someone who made it. Every merchant here chose to be here. That is what makes The Foyer different from anywhere else you can shop in this city.

Meet Lauren Barksdale Hill, born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her paintings seek to capture the spirit and soul of Louisiana's landscape as seen through her eyes. Known for her abstract-yet-vivid depictions of native scenery, Lauren's work celebrates the beauty of the South-from tranquil marshes and sugarcane fields to majestic oak trees and the rich biodiversity of her home. Each canvas is a love letter to the South, blending expressive brushwork with a deep emotional connection to place.
Lots of great gifts and artwork, staff are fabulous and the cafe serves great food.
